To think and to react. To be logical and to be emotional.

A lot of times, people live based on emotions. Every single thing we do, we will always let our emotions control us. How we react and behave is always, if not most of the time, based on how we are feeling. Its easy for us to be controlled by our emotions because thats what we are - humans. Love, Hate, Depression, Happiness are just some of the examples of emotions that we go through every single day.

But sometimes, where we go wrong is by letting EMOTIONS take control the way we make choices in our lives. Fights and rampages are good examples of emotions taking over us. Just take a look at Bruce Banner. Whenever he's angry or mad, he turns into a Hulk and starts destroying stuffs and lives around him. Is it logical to start thrashing about? No. That is Bruce Banner, but im sure many of us have ever felt so angry and we started to unleash the "hulk" in us too. For whatever reasons, turning into a Hulk will never solve the issue.

Now i am not going to talk about being angry or mad and letting our emotions control our angry mood. No, this is not my point. The point here is really showing you that most of the time, our actions are based entirely on emotions and never or maybe slightly based on logic.

Now, most of the times i meet up with young aspiring entrepreneurs who are, in a course of organizing or managing a business, all have one thing in common - the mentality of not working for others. But sadly, a majority of them also hold a same set of beliefs (subconsciously) - EGO. Although they might be onto something, the 2nd group of people have a flaw. They never would want to be open/take a look at other opportunities out there. The pride and ego of being an entrepreneur themselves, shuts them out from working FOR others AND ALSO working WITH others. The thing here i want to bring across is that these people let emotions conquer them. What do you have to lose by being open? What do you have to gain when you're not being open?

Well, the answers to both is nothing. People then would argue and say that they would lose "time". But time being substituted for exposure and understanding newer opportunities is priceless. One can actually gain so much more if they choose to be open.

Next, a lot of people would say that being logical is like common sense. But a lot of times, people often get mixed up one for the other. That is because, logic is a higher state of thinking. Common sense would tell you that you could actually dash across the busy road to get to the other side. But logical thinking would tell you that its much easier to wait for the green man to light up. Logic is therefore, the application of common sense.

What differentiates logic from common sense is that the former is rational thinking while the latter is more like instinct. And that being said, common sense is being easily affected by the society you have been raised in, what you are used to etc. Which in turn links back to emotions. Cause what is perceived by the community is therefore just common sense for us to follow through it. And best part is, this emotional sense of thought is very instantaneous. A lot of people might have common sense but they hardly think through a choice logically. I guess thats where the phrases "Common Sense is sometimes Uncommon." comes about.

Now after reading this blog, its common for you to think negatively towards it or positively towards it. You might or might not agree with me but just bear in mind, the moment you take a step out of this computer room, start thinking logically about the choices you would have to make in the future. Think not based on emotions or common sense, but think deeper. Think logically. Cause thats why we humans, are created differently from animals.

ITS ABOUT TIME I CHANGE.

Those 5 words you just mentioned above, takes you a step closer to who you really could be. Its not how good you are, its how good you want to be.

The Law of Attraction

Lately, i caught up with video - The Secret, that talks about the greatest secret in the world. Secret that has been used by sooo many successful and renowned people of different ages in time. People such as Beethoven, Einstein, Plato, Shakespeare, Newton, Lincoln, Thomas Edison and many more actually know and held onto this certain secret. I realised it could not have been something tangible but more of something intangible BUT it could be passed down from generations to generations to different continents to so many people at once. It was unbelievably awesome.

Whats the secret? Its The Law of Atraction. Sounds cheesy and stupid but after viewing the video, it somehow struck me how often we are always looking at things negatively and thinking of "What if it doesnt work?" or "What if i fail?". Even to so many good situations and opportunities, we tend to think of the downside of it IF we fail etc etc. And surprisingly, we will (fail) if we think of such things constantly. Why? Its because we attract the negativity towards us instead of the positive and the world isnt going to reward you on based on other people's actions but more of your own and how you take CONTROL of life as it goes.

If you are ever skeptical of this whole Law Of Attraction, i understand. I'm with you. If you feel that this whole thing is just a hyped up bullshit, trust me, i felt the same way too. I never knew that a person's positive thinking could actually determine how life would revovle POSITIVELY around him. I had always known about positive attitude to take in life and that everything in life happens for a good reason. But after understanding a bit more about The Law of Attraction, i realised that it all clicks together into one whole massive piece of life's jig saw puzzle.

A personal good friend of mine once wrote on a blank cheque that was addressed to his name and the money to it was $10,000. To be honest, when he told me that he did it to visualize as he believed that "Whatever you visualize will materialize IF and only IF action is put into it", i was smiling at him and saying "Wow! You really think so? I support you though.".

I WAS SKEPTICAL. DARN SKEPTICAL.

But guess what? He went on to make THAT 5-figure pay cheque in the following months after he told me. I must say that i was amazed at such a positive thinking attracts whatever you visualize coupled with the fact that he did put in effort into making that amount money. I wished i could say that it was all luck and lucky going on for him, but it kept me wondering one thing - What do i stand to lose if i am open (not skeptical) to of The Law Of Attraction?

Nothing.

And i believe so would you too. If you go and really think about the whole idea of it, its pretty scary. The idea that we actually give out different "frequencies" for every different thought and that the world around us conncets us with that frequency to GIVE BACK to us for what we are thinking of, is something that i believe...is true.

For instance, if we ever KEEP on thinking of wanting to have an additional $1, easily, (1) you could pick a dollar from the ground or (2) someone you know just asks you to keep the change ( of $1) or (3) you ask for it from your mom and she'll give it to you and many many more options. The thing im trying to bring across here is that, if we EVER dearly want something, life will give it to us but we would have to go out and look for it or even work for it. For $1, life can give it to us easily.

But if you ever thought of making that 5-figure paycheque, life aint gonna throw you $10000 from the sky nor your mom would willingly give you that amount of cash and being in that 8am-5pm job making $2K/mth wont do either. Because why? The bigger the dreams, the harder it is that life wants you to EARN it. It wont give you any of the above, but what it will give you certainly, is OPPORTUNITY. Whether you are there to realise it or not, life will certainly throw you many many opportunities. Its up to you ultimately, to capitalise on it.

And make that dream come true because "What you do not understand fully, dont you reject it to hastily."

Does Mindset Really Matter?

A desire to CHANGE requires extra motivation, commitment, and time from you. In most cases the person is doing so alone or with very limited help. It is because of this that it is imperative for you tohave the desire to succeed.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL FITNESS

In order for you to prosper, you must prosper both physically and mentally. You are not able to run your business if you are physically sick and you can't give your business all that it needs if you are mentally negative.

Physical fitness begets mental toughness. Similarly, you can reinforce a "nothing will stop me" mindset by challengingyourself in your athletic pursuits or physical fitness routine.

THE IMPORTANCE OF A POSITIVE MINDSET

A positive mindset is essential to your success.
A positive mindset is so crucial because of the Law ofAttraction. In simple terms, you tend to get what you expect to get.

Before you can create a successful change, you have to form a clear vision of what you want your life to become. If you constantly think and hope for a mediocre change in life then you are likely to get that or less.

HOW DO I DEVELOP A POSITIVE MINDSET?

Aim as high as you possibly can so that even if you fall short of your vision, your chances of success are still good. Thinking positively excites your emotions and this helps to stimulate your creative spirit.

Your brain responds to stimuli. Expose yourself to positive stimuli and avoid the negative. You will eventually begin tosee more things as possible. Read the success stories ofothers who came before you. The more you absorb the positive mindset of successful men and women, the more you seeyourself on the same path of success.

Those who expect negative things to happen, often experience negative things and fail as a result. A person who has a negative mindset is likely to give upon his desire to change, the moment that an obstacle presents itself because it will be seen as impossible to surpass. A person who has a positive mindset is likely to encounter success. Having a positive mindset does not mean that your path will be free of obstacles, but someone with a positive mindset will find a way to getaround them.

While it is not possible to completely expel all negative thoughts and influences from your life, it is possible tolimit them.

RESPONDING TO NEGATIVE INFLUENCES IN YOUR LIFE

How does someone stay positive; especially when you don't have a strong support system?
Begin by steering clear of people who don't support your attempt to demean you by making negative comments. You must also remain positive so that when you are met with opposition you are able to dismiss it.

If you begin second guessing your abilities as a successful person because you let what others say affect you, then you are not likely to succeed. Remember that the prosperity of your life/future is dependent on you. This is why it is essential for you to stay positive in all situations.
There are bumps and set backs in everyone's career. It is notso much the number of obstacles that you encounter that will determine the success of your business; it is your ability to get past these unfortunate events that determines how lucrative your life will become.

YOU DON'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT BUT...

In order to succeed, you have to believe that nothing can stop you from obtaining your goals.
You don't always get what you want, but you often get whatyou expect. As aperson who desires change, you should constantly expect wealth, prosperity, and overall success.

Even if success doesn't come to you in the manner in which you expect, your positive attitude can help you to put more faith in your business and new opportunities will present themselves.
A positive mindset does not guarantee success by itself, but it will help you a great deal. Plan carefully, be patient, and remain positive through everything; and you will become a success.

Its never about you alone

This is just a simple exercise that i would hope that anyone reading this blog would actually do. Its nothing physical or strenuous so anyone could actually do it. Its just that whether you are kinda up for it.

Well here it goes. Tonight when everyone in your home is sound asleep, just go over to your parent's bedroom and look at them for a moment. Take a look at their faces, those tired faces and those wrinkles on it. Ask yourself then, "How much longer would they have to go on like this just so you can lead a better life? How much time do they have left in this world to see you become someone successful, better off than them?"

Are you gonna let them work till they are 55? 65? Or 75 just so they can support themselves in the years to come. And not lead a lifestyle that they have been longing for all these while. With your current lifestyle and job you're holding, could you even sustain enough for YOUR daily needs? How much are you going to give to your parents? $100? $200 per month? Would that be enough for them to retire early and lead a healthy and happy life?

Why are you being so selfish then? As much as our parents dont want us to suffer we wouldnt want them to suffer as well. But ARE WE DOING ENOUGH to survive in this rapidly changing world/country where everything cost money. We might say that "Money isnt everything." But when our parents get sick, would they have enough money to see the doctor? If one day, our loved ones are in danger, would we have the cash on hand to try and save their lives? That is why, money ultimately is important in our everyday live in this current era. Back then, our parents and grandparent can live a happy life without money because all they have to make them happy is YOU, hoping that one fine day, you could make them happy as well.

My dear fellow readers, we have so much time ahead of us, so much to live for and so much is in store for us. But our parents, they do not have that luxury of time no more. Even if one day, 30 years down the road, we become successful and lead a wealthy and happy life, would they be there with you to see you being successful. Or would you be wishing that your parents could be with you at that moment in time.

~~~
Life is short and we must always make the most and best out of it. Everyone isnt born with the same intellect or wealth. But we all have the same 24hours to live by. And with that, we should find ways NOW to change our life as well as our parents'. Cause time wont wait for us and neither would life.
About Me
Motto: Dare to Dream. Do you?
What this is all about: Things in life aren't what life brings to you but more of what you make the most out of life itself. Not everyone has the same intellect when they started in this world nor the same amount of wealth. But we all do have the same amount of time (i.e 24 hours) to work out what's best for the rest of our life.
